This is a phrase I hear on a regular basis. What I find so funny about this, is that it is usually non-Christian’s who say this to me. When they find out I am not only an energy practitioner but a Christian who is active in their church and even teaches Sunday School, they look shocked. I actually look at this as an opportunity to not only explain my faith but to also explain energy.

The best part is that Jesus already did the explaining for me:

John 14:12-14 New International Version (NIV)

¹² Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. ¹³ And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴ You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Since I was a little girl, I could see, hear, and feel things that others did not. I had no idea the sensation I was experiencing was energy around and through me. I have always been intuitive and learned at an early age to follow my “gut.” When I went to my first energy class I literally went to see what would happen. It was free so I had nothing to lose except three days out of my life. I didn’t even really believe in it that much. Little did I know that I was going to walk out of there with a whole new understanding as to who I was and what my gifting was. I always thought my gift was teaching, well that might be one, but my bigger gift is that of healer. It was in this energy class that I also learned all the voices I hear all the time around me are actually the animals I am around. I had no idea why the massages I was giving the horses had a better affect than those the animals had experienced prior, but after this class it all came together. I was actually doing an energetic massage.

I truly believe that God gives everyone a gift, and mine is being an energetic healer, life coach, and animal communicator. Jesus walked around and healed people, and while I am no where near that level, I get to share a part of my faith with everyone when I do energy work. It is not witch craft, or anything of the occult, and I actually get a bit miffed when people accuse me of that sort of thing. This to me is the gift that God has given me. I pray each and every one of you finds your calling!
